New York City Policing Roundtable (NYCPR) fosters continuing
relationships between civil rights attorneys, community organizers,
advocates, and others who work to end police misconduct. NYCPR seeks to
reduce police misconduct in New York City by community organizing and
advocacy, public education, litigation, and research.
ROUNDTABLE: Members of the Roundtable share information,
strategies, and new policy and legal developments, through participation
in group meetings and listservs hosted by New York Lawyers for the
Public Interest.
COPP: The NYCPR Community Oversight of Policing Project (COPP)
advocates and organizes to reduce police misconduct. Law students,
organizers, and volunteers engage in community organizing projects with
grassroots coalitions fighting police misconduct.

Report on the effects of vertical patrol policies and aggressive
trespass enforcement on residents of NYCHA homes. Residents report
unacceptable levels of police misconduct.
