NYCPR is a non-profit organization that nurtures
relationships between civil rights and public interest attorneys,
community organizers, advocates, policy analysts, academics, and others
who work to end police misconduct in New York City.
We have 70 professional members, most of whom have worked on police
reform issues in New York City for many years.
NYCPR engages in:
-
legal education and
training,
-
public education,
-
community organizing,
-
advocacy, and
-
research.
NYCPR seeks to create and
maintain links between advocates, organizers, and community members, and
a steady drumbeat of combined voices calling for improved policing.
